Le Hunte Properties is a Canberra based property development company formed in 2007 by David Harper.

Our aim is to provide Development and Development Management services across all major sectors of the property industry, offering solutions and opportunities for a number of select clients and partners.

Our experience and market knowledge is wide ranging, encompassing commercial office development, subdivision, mixed use development medium and high density residential developments in the ACT and regional NSW.

Le Hunte has a number of private and corporate clients which it has delivered projects for in addition to it’s own developments.

David Harper

Principal

Whilst his origins were in valuation his skills have been developed in a variety ofsectors including, Project Marketing, Multi unit residential, Industrial, Commercial Office Buildings, Subdivision and Mixed use Retail-office-residential.

In the years previous to establishing Le Hunte Properties in December 2007, 5 years were as Development Manager for Amalgamated Property Group (APG) in ACT QLD & NSW.

Prior to joining Amalgamated at it’s formation in 2002, David established then headed the Development Division of Independent Property Group 10 years earlier. During David’s time there the Group large majority of medium density development within the ACT, totalling in excess of 4,000 apartments or townhouses in that time.

David has extensive experience in all facets of property development from site acquisition & planning approval process, through to marketing & construction.

John W

John has approximately 20 years’ experience in the financial services arena. He was previously Head of Funds Management for a boutique real estate manager

John has approximately 20 years’ experience in the financial services arena. He was previously Head of Funds Management for a boutique real estate manager. He was responsible for the investment and performance of ventures worth in excess of A$1.5 billion.

John has also worked for CBRE establishing their corporate finance team and being the Responsible Manager on their Financial Services License. He also has also worked for Mercer Investment Consulting, Ernst and Young whilst completing his accounting degree.

John is a Fellow of the Australian Property Institute, with CPV certification, holds an agency license and is a regular member of the CFA.
